My Film Opening Project - Psychological Thriller/Horror | Alexis Lee, Eliran Argi, and Sophia Tellez

For my film opening project, I chose the psychological thriller genre with aspects of horror because I believe the filming process will be creative and fun to create. Finding the plot and acting for horror feels easier compared to other genres, and it allows for a lot of flexibility and imagination. I also love how horror can create scares through suspense and tension which deliver jump scares and keeps the audience engaged, making it an exciting genre to work with. Although this Genre is quite popular, more popular than most, I believe it is best when captivating an audience through its many cool and interesting aspects of image editing, sounds designs, and camera movements or shots. I’m working with Alexis Lee and Eliran Argi because we share similar creative ideas and have always worked well together. We’re able to have deep conversations and build off each other’s thoughts, which makes collaboration enjoyable and productive. I’m confident that, as a team, we can create a film opening that’s both captivating and memorable.
