About Me

My name is Sophia Tellez, I am 16 years old and film has been in my life every since I can remember. I grew up watching movies and shows every weekend or at any free time with my family so I am very familiar with all sorts of genres. My favorite genres are thriller, horror, romance and drama and at times comedy. I become very attached with characters in movies and shows due to how directors and writers portray them to be. I love film that includes a little bit of every genre I listed which is why my favorite show is The Walking Dead. My favorite directors include Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Damien Chazelle, and Gregory Nicotero. What I hope to get out of this journey in building my portfolio is to learn and to practice with the process of filmmaking along with its difficulties and fun.
