 In the following short film me and my group will be working on, we wanted to focus on the mysterious and dangerous aspect of the dissociative identity disorder. For the Film Stills I chose movies and shows that also focused on this idea like Fractured and Moon Knight. To incorporate a stalking presence for inspiration, I chose to include an image from the movie The Gift. The frightening and isolated concept art was included to show how we want the audience to feel when relating to or feeling the characters experience. For the location I wanted to focus on 2 specific ones which are a diner and a bathroom to show this ordinary place anyone could attend however by adding DID it creates a twist in this comforting environment. For the Character portraits I chose 2 subjects conversating as that is what the majority of the short film will consist of. The Costume and design were normal everyday clothes and another of a detective and my group wanted to create a red herring with a detective character. For the environment we wanted the setting to feel tight and suffocating yet dark to show how this other identity is kept in one's body with this evil intent. The colors, lighting, and photography included darker hues and mysterious angles to add paranoia and give the audience hints of how dark this film could be although it may not seem like it at first. The props and sounds will be used to further hint at the DID like pills being taken and zoom ins from cameras to implicate a stalker. The sounds will also have an isolating effect and there will be build up music to build the suspense.
